Hot Dipped Galvanized L Hook Anchor Bolts with Nut & Washer

Dec. 30, 2022

The end of an L-type anchor bolt (L-Ankerbolzen) is curved so it may grip onto a masonry or concrete building. GDPA Fasteners deliver these anchor bolts that are often cast in place, which means they are put into the concrete right away after it has been poured. As the concrete hardens, the bolts are kept in place by fastening.ASSAD.jpg

In new construction, concrete anchor bolts are used to fix steel columns to concrete piers, secure a structure’s walls to concrete slabs and foundation walls, and anchor equipment to concrete pads. L-bolts are installed in recently laid concrete. Since the shape of this kind of anchor bolt is an L, it cannot be removed out of the concrete once it has hardened. Although L-bolt anchoring bolts are available in a wide range of lengths, the most popular ones are 6, 8, and 12 inches. The top of these bolts, which is threaded for about two inches, is smooth, and the rest is threaded.

Almost every new concrete slab pour uses this kind of anchor bolt. The anchor bolt is sunk into the concrete as soon as the slab is poured, leaving the threaded portion sticking up high enough to fasten the walls with a washer and nut.
