How to choose Formwork Tie Rod at Trico?

Formwork Tie Rod is made of steel bar used in a tie system to hold wall or column formwork together while concrete is being poured and is curing. It is normally used with tie bar wing nuts, anchor nuts, hex nuts, water stop nuts ans steel cones as a complete formwork system. Tie Rod has different types used for different project and export to different markets.

Top 1  is Hot Rolled Tie Rod. It is widly used in European countries and developed countries. It is normally used for bridge, high ways, tunnels.  And in some developed countries it is widely used in every building. The breaking load of this kind of Tie Bar is 180kn. And the safe working load is 90kn. Usually length will be 5.8m per piece. Other lengths are supplying also. 

What is the difference of Trico's Tie Rod

Top 2 is Cold Rolled Tie Rod. It is made of round steel bar with full thread. Material can be Q235 or Steel 45#. Breaking load can reach to 90KN with Q235 and steel 45# can reach to 140KN.  It is a good choice to use Steel 45# material replace hot roled tie bar when you do not have enough budget. And Q235 material can save cost further if you can accept the 90KN breaking load. 

It is hard to identify Q235 and Steel 45# by eyes , so please confirm what kind of material you get when place order.
