Form Tie System is a heavy-duty formwork accessory used in concrete construction to secure shuttering panels and withstand the lateral pressure of wet concrete. It maintains exact wall thickness, prevents bulging, and creates a clean finish without discoloration.
Complete Form Tie System consists of following parts:
Inner Unit / Separator: The central rod that sets the exact wall thickness. This is the only part permanently cast into the concrete.
Form Tie : Threaded rods that connect the formwork panel to the inner unit on both sides.
Plastic Cones: Placed against the formwork to provide a precise spacer and allow easy removal of the outer ties.
Hex Nuts & Rib Washers: Threaded onto the outer ties to tightly lock and secure the formwork panels in place.
