Z Bar is a high tensile steel threaded rod system used to tie wall forms together. It has a coarse, rounded thread for speed of use and easy cleaning. The Z bar’s nominal diameters are 15/17mm and it is available as either hot or cold rolled. At present, the hot rolled z bar with uncontinous thread is the popuplar tie bar. The tensile strength of this z bar is over 180Kn.
Z bars are used with large wing nuts, water stop, washer plates, hex nuts, z bar joiners, spacer tubes and cones, etc. making them completely removable and reusable.
